The simple tropical cabins of Maroochy River Bungalows provide direct boating access to the Maroochy River system.

Maroochy River Resort and Bungalows offer 3 star self-catering accommodation suitable for singles, couples, families & groups. All cabins are set on one acre of landscaped gardens within 80m of waterfront.
Each bungalow feastures a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area as well as a main bedroom area. The kitchen & living areas are smaller in the 1 bedroom bungalows than in the 2 bedroom bungalows. Additional bedding may be added. Beds for the children may comprise any combination of bunks or single divans or trundles, depending on the information you provide to us at the time of booking. All bungalows are are best suited to up to 2 adults and 2 children, although some may accommodate up to 4 children.
The WATERFRONT BUNGALOWS (1brm 42m2 - 2brm 64m2) are all within 20 metres of the waters edge offering you the opportunity for you to moor your boat in the water in front of your cabin. There is also plenty of room out of the water for kayaks, skulls, canoes etc.
The GARDENVIEW BUNGALOWS are nestled amongst the one acre garden no more than 50m from the waters edge, providing easy access to the surrounding nature conservation park.
Bungalow amenities include a fully equipped kitchen with oven, bar fridge, microwave, food preparation equipment, cooking utensils, toaster, kettle, cutlery & crockery, colour TV & DVD player, ceiling fans, clock radio, heater (winter only), insect screens and private bathroom. All prices listed assume guests BYO linen (ie, sheets, towels & pillowcases) & toiletries.
All bungalows are NON SMOKING & Pets are not permitted whether they be birds, cats, or dogs etc. We ask instead that you enjoy the daily local wildlife visitors including pelicans, ducks, scrub turkeys, lorrikeets, banded rails & water dragons.
Maroochy River Resort and Bungalows is located only 5km to the Maroochydore surf beach, 3km to the township of Bli Bli and just 400m to the nearby Waterfront Hotel with its great meals and entertainment.
It is 500m to the nearest bus stop and the local RSL Courtesy Bus will collect you from here.
Sailboat, jetski, boat and kayak hire operators are all located along the river within 2 km.
Kayaks and waterbikes are available at the resort.

Being located right on the water means that if you are interested in water skiing, fishing, etc you'll be right at home, or if you like it a little easier, try the nearby barramundi farm (Aussie Fishing Park).
All of the attractions of the Sunshine Coast from the scenic walks of Glasshouse Mountains and Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwins' Australia Zoo in the south, the arts and crafts of the hillside villages of Maleny/Montville to the west or the fantastic beaches, cafes and shops of Coolum & Noosa to the north are all within an easy 25 minute drive.
Kids attractions include Bli Bli Castle, Ski'n Skurf cable water ski park, Top Shots Fun Park, Maze Mania, jet ski hire, sail boat hire, general boat and pontoon boat hire. These are all located within 2 minutes drive of the Maroochy River Bungalows.
For those interested in the cafe scene there is a multitude of cafes & night spots to suit all tastes at Mooloolaba which is an easy 10 minutes drive.
For those that just want to relax our paddle boats, waterbikes, kayaks, crab pots, games, swimming pool, bbq, & tennis courts, provide entertainment without having to go driving at all.

The main attractions for the children are our resident scrub turkeys who delight all with their nest building displays, and the majestic pelicans who line the foreshore eagerly awaiting a friendly fisherman.
